As an Early Childhood Educator, you will promote the growth of children aged 0-12 through engaging, YMCA-approved programs. Your role includes providing one-on-one support to children, implementing individualized strategies, and fostering an inclusive workplace. You'll connect with families and document children's progress every day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement YMCA curriculum for child developmental needs
• Facilitate creative activities promoting exploration and interaction
• Observe and document children's behavior and development




• Maintain a protected environment following licensing regulations
• Communicate regularly with parents about child updates
Requirements:
• Level 1, 2, or 3 Child Care Certification
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred
• Standard First Aid & CPR - C required
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check needed
• Experience with tablets and Microsoft Word
