In the role reporting to the Mine Superintendent, you will be essential in delivering training to underground employees and ensuring they operate machinery safely. By maintaining up-to-date training documentation and procedures, you'll significantly contribute to continuous improvement and employee culture at the mining site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field training for underground operations
• Coordinate training activities with contractors
• Implement and revise protected operating procedures
• Keep training records organized and current
• Drive initiatives for safety and environmental culture
Requirements:
• 10+ years working in underground mining
• Accreditation in Train the Trainer
• Exceptional organizational skills required
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Requires a valid Class 5 Driver's License
