About the Opportunity We are looking to hire a Senior Project Supervisor to join our Bell Creek Operations team in Timmins, ON., on a full-time basis. The schedule for this position is a 4-3 rotation, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.

Compensation:

This position offers a base salary range of $125,000 - $135,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Senior Project Supervisor

will play a key role in advancing underground mining construction projects and implementing changes to ensure safety, production and cost targets are met. The day-to-day coordination of multiple contractor activities will be the primary responsibility, while ensuring underground site inspections of work headings are carried out for compliance to plan. You will be responsible for the health and safety of all personnel and contractors in your charge and ensure that all safety incidents are thoroughly investigated, and recommendations are implemented promptly and without prejudice. You are expected to demonstrate with consistency all LSG core values in Health and Safety and follow the Environment Code of Conduct of Lake Shore Gold, as well as any other duties as assigned.

Assisting with coordinating and tracking the safe execution of underground projects

Oversee contractor and internal interfaces, conduct risk assessments, and assist with change control to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with site standards and regulations

Timesheet approvals and verification of work performed

Mitigate and verify delays associated with project work

Coordination of logistics underground

Helping to execute the operational plan for completing the project or mine schedule





Assisting with QAQC on all new installations

Facilitating daily huddles with mining and contractor crews

Participating in weekly planning meetings to coordinate activities in order to review performance against targets and ensure project objectives at met

Ensuring all project stakeholders are working in a secure manner, following all company policies and legislative requirements

Provide cost-effective solutions for field work requirements

In consultation with the management team, evaluate alternative optimized methods for execution of project work

More About You While our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply. The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

8-10 years related mining experience

3-5 years Supervising experience

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Strong computer skills and problem-solving abilities

Solid commitment to safety

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada

Previous project/contractor management would be considered an asset

Overall, you are a motivated team player who demonstrates compliance with all health and safety regulations.
