A Canadian-listed mining developer is seeking a Corporate Controller to join its Toronto-based finance team.Reporting directly to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will take ownership of financial reporting, accounting, audit and internal controls, while gaining broader exposure across the finance function.ResponsibilitiesManage monthly, quarterly and annual close processesPrepare consolidated IFRS financial statementsSupport MD&A; and public-company reportingCoordinate quarterly reviews and the annual auditMaintain internal controls, accounting policies and proceduresSupport budgeting, forecasting and management reportingAssist with treasury, tax and corporate activitiesResearch technical accounting mattersImprove financial systems and reporting processesSupport the CFO with strategic and ad hoc projectsRequirementsStrong IFRS and financial reporting experienceKnowledge of Canadian public-company requirementsExperience managing close and external audit processesStrong internal-controls knowledgeComfortable working within a lean, hands-on finance teamMining industry experience is advantageousThe role offers strong CFO mentorship, broad finance exposure and a transparent pathway towards VP Finance.
