Dock Worker

Manitoulin Transport's Barrie Terminal is a dynamic and growing logistics company committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. We value teamwork, safety, and a strong work ethic. We are currently seeking a reliable and physically capable Dock Worker to join our team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe loading and unloading of freight, primarily utilizing a forklift. You will also play a key part in maintaining an organized and clean dock environment and ensuring accurate handling of all shipments.

Salary: CA$70,500.00 yearly

Contract: Full-time

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating a forklift.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance are assets.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with customers.

Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience

- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic scanning equipment.
- Safety certifications beyond forklift operation.
