Job DescriptionThe Project Manager, Store Graphics is responsible for project level management of Retail store graphic projects including the execution of graphics for new store openings, full and partial renovations, store relocations, and other store projects as assigned. This role will create and manage project plans and coordinate with multiple cross‑functional partners to achieve project milestones. Acting as the liason between creative teams and project stakeholders. The Creative Project Manager brings clarity, process and problem‑solving expertise to guide projects from concept through delivery.Key Performance MetricsSuccessful project delivery, on time, on scope, on budgetProject team satisfaction and engagementFunctional AccountabilitiesReview project briefs with Store Design ensuring briefs are clear and complete, clarifying objectives, timelines, budgets and success criteriaDefine scope, deliverables, dependencies and risksBuild and maintain detailed project schedule and flag any resource issuesFacilitate design reviews and approvalsManage the work from concept through to installation as well as any change ordersTrack revisions, approvals and version controlCreate project budget and monitor throughout the project to ensure the project is delivered on budgetWork with trusted vendors to reduce costs where possibleOpen project docket and estimate resource requirementsManage communication ensuring full transparency with all project stakeholders including studio leadership, business owners, vendors and project teamsActively manage project schedules throughout the life of the projectIdentify and manage issues and risks jeopardizing project success through regular updates to studio leadership and project teamEstablish best practices and learnings through project closeout survey/meetings to ensure experiences gained through project be applied in future initiatives; implement any process re‑designs/refinementsManage the delivery of any requested change ordersDocument all graphics and ensure design decks are filed appropriately during project close out.Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision‑making processesEmbrace and seek out technology that creates high‑tech and high‑touch solutions for Indigo’s customersProactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needsChallenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve themPeople AccountabilitiesBring out the best in others, empower and constructively stretch talentCollaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easilyShare technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourselfHelp others see the impacts of their efforts and proactively engage other functions to get inputEncourage others to freely share their point of view and be open to feedbackCultural AccountabilitiesModel Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you doCelebrate diversity of thought and have an open mindsetTake an active role in fostering a culture of continual learning, taking risks without the fear of making mistakesEmbrace, champion and influence change through your team and/or the organizationSCOPEReports to: Senior Director, Creative ServicesManager once Removed (MOR): Vice President, Creative StudioKey RelationshipsInternal RelationshipsFinanceStore DesignConstructionRetail Experience and OperationsMerchants (GM & Trade)Marketing, Events,



PRStore DevelopmentLegalQualificationsWork Experience / Education / CertificationsPost secondary degree completed in Creative Project Management or a related field, or a combination of education & work experience deemed equivalentProject Management Certification (e.G. PMP) is an assetMinimum 5 years of demonstrated progressive project management experience, ideally within the retail industryStrong project management skills from concept to implementation including ability to manage several projects simultaneously on strict timelinesStrong analytical, customer service and relationship building skills with attention to detail and ability to problem solveHighly effective relationship and stakeholder management capabilitiesAbility to communicate effectively and lead others through change and new strategic initiativesDemonstrated ability to work in a team‑based workplace with multiple stakeholders at different levelsAdvanced computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Project), Smartsheets, Dropbox, and ability to read CADOther (travel, Bilingual, etc.)Position based in Toronto, Canada – some travel within Canada may be requiredAt Indigo, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility are core to our values.
