In this full-time position, you will report to the Supervisor of Urban Forestry and perform various essential arboricultural tasks. You should possess a diploma in Arboriculture or Urban Forestry and be knowledgeable about safe tree practices. Additionally, strong climbing skills and experience with urban forestry equipment are crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and prune municipal trees following best practices
• Identify woody plants and manage health care needs
• Document work orders and provide excellent customer service




• Participate in winter standby and emergency response
• Assist other sections as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, or related field
• IHSA Line Clearing Safety Awareness Certificate
• Commercial Land Exterminator License required
• Minimum 2 years’ urban forestry experience
• Ontario Class 'DZ' Driver’s License in positive standing
