TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER for an Edmonton area-based prospect to work in an operating plant environment.Job Description:Designing, implementing, and optimizing regulatory process control strategiesDeveloping and modifying control logic, graphics, and alarm configurationsSupporting and maintaining Distributed Control Systems (DCS) (e.G., Honeywell Experion PKS)Providing technical support during plant upsets, startups, and shutdownsMaintaining proper documentation for control strategies, configurations, and changesLeading and supporting alarm rationalization and management initiativesSupporting cybersecurity initiatives within the OT/ICS environmentParticipating in process optimization and continuous improvement projectsTroubleshooting and resolving control system issuesJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical,



or Process Control Engineering10+ years of experience in process control within industrial or chemical plant environmentsRegistered Professional Engineer with APEGA or eligible for registrationExperience working with MS Office and SAPExperience with HMI development and scripting such as VBScript and HMIWebExperience with DCS systems such as Honeywell Experion is preferred, and Honeywell TPS experience is an assetUnderstanding of process dynamics and control theory (PID tuning, loop optimization)Experience with alarm management systemsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsPay rates or salaries will be based on experience and current market standards.
