and all other site-related duties as assignedMaintain standards of practice consistent with the provincial governing regulatory bodyComply with International SOS Policies and ProceduresEnsure that patients are managed in a professional and friendly mannerEnsure equipment and transport vehicles are ready 24/7 to undertake all medical retrieval servicesParticipate in emergency response services as requiredParticipate in ongoing continuing medical education provided by International SOSOperate within boundaries of the provincial licences of the incumbentAssist with the internal training program on site by preparing training sessions as requestedAny other duties that may be requested from time to time by managementEnsure International SOS and the client are represented in a professional mannerParticipate in required drills/skills testingAbout YouMust-haves (minimum requirements):Work experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic/FirefighterFire Certifications(not limited to):NFPA 1001 Level 1 and 2NFPA 1002 Level 1 and 2NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue Or Equivalent to NFPANFPA 1006 Confined Space Or Equivalent to NFPANFPA 472 HazmatExceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressureCurrent registration with the Alberta College of ParamedicsA valid driver’s license and a clean driving recordAlignment with our values of expertise,passion,respect and carePreference ForExperience in an industrial settingA high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies and proceduresKnowledge of Microsoft Office suiteCollaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most valueHold others accountable, and expect others to do the sameWhere you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other significant information:You will work out of our camp-based client sites.
