Consistently ranked as Canada's most reputable financial technology brand, Interac is deeply embedded in the daily lives of Canadians.Who You Will Work With:The vacant Leader, Quality Engineering, Governance & Enablement role will report to the Head, Delivery Excellence and will operate as a senior technology leader within the Delivery Excellence organization. You will act as the enterprise authority for Quality Engineering, Certification, and Production Readiness, working collaboratively to ensure that Agile Ways of Working and the Enterprise Delivery Framework are applied consistently, pragmatically, and at scale across the technology organization.What You Will Do:Establish and own enterprise‐wide Quality Engineering, Certification, and Production Readiness standardsAct as the authoritative voice on release readiness, quality health, and change riskEnsure consistent interpretation and application of standards across products and platformsEnterprise Delivery FrameworkTranslate Agile Ways of Working principles into clear, enforceable quality and testing practicesEmbed quality, automation, and readiness expectations into the Enterprise Delivery FrameworkDefine and govern entry and exit criteria for build, test, certification, and release stagesEnsure teams can move fast without increasing operational or regulatory riskQuality Engineering Strategy & EnablementDevelop and execute a multi‐year Quality Engineering strategy and roadmap aligned to enterprise prioritiesLead the evolution of continuous testing and automation frameworksDrive adoption of shift‐left, automation‐first quality practicesStandardize tools, patterns,



and methodologies to improve efficiency and consistencyCertification, Readiness & Risk DisciplineOwn the technology certification lifecycle and production readiness modelEstablish and maintain change risk scoring and readiness assessment standardsReduce defect leakage, post‐release incidents, and late‐stage surprisesEnsure release decisions are supported by evidence, data, and transparent accountabilityMetrics, Insights & Continuous ImprovementDefine and govern quality, readiness, and automation KPIsUse delivery data and post‐release insights to drive systemic improvementPartner with Delivery Performance and Architecture leaders to address recurring quality and stability issuesShift the organization from subjective assessments to outcome‐based quality measuresLeadership & CollaborationLead and develop a team of Quality Engineering, Automation, Certification, and Readiness leadersCoach teams to think beyond testing towards engineering quality by designFoster strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, Platform, and OperationsChampion a culture of standards, transparency, learning, and continuous improvementWhat You Bring:10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or related technology leadership rolesDeep experience operating within Agile and DevOps environments at scaleProven track record establishing enterprise standards, governance models, and delivery disciplinesStrong systems‐thinking mindset focused on improving end‐to‐end delivery outcomes Leadership & MindsetComfortable operating as a technology authority through influence and credibility, not controlData‐driven, outcome‐oriented, and improvement‐focusedStrong communicator able to align executives, delivery teams, and partnersPassionate about building durable delivery systems, not hero‐dependent executionEligibility to work for Interac Corp.
