To undertake clinical responsibility for a range of urological patients, in agreement with relevant consultants teams. To maximise the use of available theatre lists and clinics where appropriate and his/her expertise allow. To be jointly responsible, together with the Specialty Doctors, for the daily running of the ward and the care of the inpatients. To participate in the Urology (middle-grade) On Call rota. To promote the development of multi-disciplinary teams and shared responsibility for the provision of care to patients. To support the development of clinical governance, using audit findings to improve the quality of treatment and to minimise clinical risk. To work with colleagues to promote the collective aims of the department. To participate in departmental teaching and to ensure continued career development. £65,048 per annum (inc 1:4 or 1:10 weekend allowance + night premium)
