Maintenance Manager ? Retirement Residence*Kitchener, ON**Full-Time*

Comfort of Living is seeking an experienced *Maintenance Manager* to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and building operations for both *Retirement Residence *in Kitchener.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance across both properties
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting and general repairs
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers
- Complete routine building, safety and equipment inspections
- Maintain maintenance records, service logs and preventative maintenance schedules
- Support fire safety, emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance
- Oversee seasonal property needs including snow removal, landscaping and exterior maintenance
- Assist with suite turnover, renovations and building improvement projects
- Ensure both properties remain safe,



clean and well maintained

Qualifications

- Previous building maintenance, facilities or property management experience
- Solid knowledge of general building systems and repairs
- Experience coordinating contractors and vendors
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and prioritizing multiple properties
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Experience in retirement living, seniors housing, multi-residential or healthcare environments is an asset
- Valid driver?s licence preferred

A hands-on, dependable Maintenance Manager who takes pride in their work, responds quickly to issues and understands the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable home for seniors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
