We are seeking a Safety Manager to lead fleet safety and compliance within a commercial trucking operation.This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for enforcing DOT and FMCSA compliance, improving driver safety, and reducing operational risk across an asset‐based fleet. You will play a critical role in driving safety performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesOversee fleet safety programs to ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulationsConduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations (root cause + corrective action)Develop and enforce driver safety policies, procedures, and compliance standardsMonitor driver behavior, logs, and performance to ensure regulatory adherenceLead driver safety training, coaching, and corrective action plansMaintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentationPartner with operations to reduce risk and improve fleet safety performanceTrack safety metrics (violations, incidents, scores)
