The GSSD is seeking an Educational Assistant to work 5.5 hours daily, starting immediately. This role involves supporting students with their learning goals, providing personal care assistance, and closely working with classroom teachers. Ensure confidentiality of student information and carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:



• Work with students to achieve their learning objectives • Assist students with mobility and personal care needs • Support teachers in delivering inclusive education • Maintain strict confidentiality of all student and classroom information • Perform tasks as directed by the principal or designate

Requirements: • Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent • Strong attention to detail and flexibility • Experience with indigenous ways of knowing is an asset • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team • Criminal record check required before hiring
