Successful candidates will become a part of that union.What You'll Be DoingComplete repairs on mining equipment, including Haul Trucks, Excavators, Shovels, and Dozers (CAT/Hitachi/Komatsu)Develop a work scopeFabricate from blueprintsComplete reports and fill out work orders when requiredFollow NACG codes of practice and safety proceduresWhat Makes You The ONERed Seal/Alberta Journeyperson Welder with 1-2 years of heavy equipment repair experience (preferably large Trucks/Dozers/Shovels/Excavators)Experience with mobile equipment repairs, ice lugging, lancing, and gouging.Trained and experienced with Stick, MIG and large wire-feed welders, radiograph, Cooper-heat, Plasma cutter, Lance, overhead crane, etc...Ability to work outside if necessaryStrong communication skillsProficiency in English,
