Support and enrich student experiences as a Full time Educational Assistant with the Simcoe County District School Board. This role is essential in promoting academic and social development in a safe environment.

This position offers 35 hours a week of fulfilling work as an Educational Assistant at SCDSB. The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in human services and BMS training. Responsibilities include working with students requiring assistance in different situations, from toileting to social integration, across various grades.

Key Responsibilities: • Support students with physical and learning challenges • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary educational team • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)



• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly • Promote an inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements: • Educational qualifications in human services or related field • Experience in behavior management preferred • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Commitment to students with diverse needs • Willingness to participate in continuous training
