This newly created position combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to modernize our hiring practices and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.This is an chance to make a measurable impact on how we attract and engage talent in a fast‑paced, evolving industry.About Your DayReview current recruitment workflows to recommend and implement process improvements that will streamline candidate experienceManage full‑cycle recruitment for select roles, including posting, screening, interviewing and offer coordinationEnsure consistent and transparent communication with candidates throughout the processProvide guidance and training to hiring managers on recruitment best practicesPartner with HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs and align on recruitment effortsDevelop tools and resources to support hiring manager capabilityPromote inclusive hiring practices and ensure a level playing field in all recruitmentsEvaluate current recruitment tools and systems; recommend upgrades or new technologiesCollaborate with internal teams to enhance employer branding and candidate outreachMonitor recruitment metrics and trends to inform strategy and continuous improvementLead or support projects that improve talent acquisition efficiency and innovationProvide day‑to‑day guidance and task oversight to the Talent Acquisition CoordinatorAct as additional support for HRBP team in high volume periodsFoster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on continuous improvementAbout YouPost‑secondary degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field—or equivalent experienceCertificate in Talent Acquisition, Designation in CHRL/CHRP preferred5 years of experience in talent acquisition, including recruitment strategy and process designExperience recruiting for senior‑level roles and working with applicant tracking systems (ATS)Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plusExperience training or supporting managers is preferredExposure to employer branding initiatives or recruitment marketing is preferredStrong facilitation and communication skillsProficiency in PowerPoint and recruitment platformsKnowledge of accessibility requirements in OntarioAbility to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAnalytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvementAbout the JobHours of Work: 36.25 a weekEmployment Type: Fixed‑Term, 12‑monthsRequired Travel: Rare, usually within the GTACompensationThe target hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000. This is a pay grade 6 role, with a salary range of $71,777.30 to $107,379.81.
