Our client is a leading provider in energy solutions and equipment rental services, and they are looking for a Legal Director to lead their legal efforts in Canada. The successful candidate will have 4–9+ years of legal expertise, including in-house experience, and a solid background in commercial agreements. You'll collaborate effectively with senior leaders and the North American legal team while advising on potential operational and legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:



• Act as the primary legal advisor for the Canadian operations • Draft and negotiate customer and vendor agreements • Develop compliance and risk management frameworks • Manage relationships with external legal counsel • Facilitate internal legal training for staff

Requirements: • Must be a member of a Canadian Law Society • 4-9+ years of relevant legal experience, including in-house roles • Solid skills in negotiating commercial agreements • Capacity to operate independently and proactively • Fluency in French will aid in Québec operations
