Position SummaryThe Construction Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis, and provide tender support for building repair and rehabilitation projects. The role also includes assisting with technical site inspections and project coordination activities, ensuring that all work aligns with applicable codes and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Estimating & Cost Analysis:Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and site conditionsPrepare cost estimates and scope-based pricing for building repair and rehabilitation projectsAnalyze labour, materials, and equipment requirements to support accurate cost analysisSupport tendering processes, including bid comparison and cost evaluationCoordinate with contractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and maintain vendor relationshipsEvaluate change orders, review progress
