This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, payroll, government remittances, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end/quarter-end close activities.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented,



and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who can work independently, take ownership of processes, and support the financial health and operational success of the business through accurate reporting and solid financial controls.What You’ll DoFull Cycle AccountingManage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities including restaurant operations, franchising, located both in Canada and U.S.Prepare monthly financial statements, including variance analysis with explanatory notesPerform month-end and quarter-end close processesManage intercompany transactions and reconciliations on a quarterly basisPrepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsSupport year-end audit with a Big 4 audit firm including preparation of working papers and responding to audit queriesPayroll & ComplianceManage full-cycle payroll across multiple companiesPrepare and remit: PD7A, EHT, WSIB, WCB Alberta, WorkSafeBCIssue ROEs, prepare T4s and T2200sReconcile payroll liabilities and employee expensesTax & ReportingPrepare GST/HST calculations and filingsAssist with income tax payable calculationsPrepare
