JOB DESCRIPTIONReporting to the General Manager, the Food Service Director plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional dining experience and driving operational excellence. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, high-quality food offerings, and a welcoming dining environment.The successful candidate will lead the achievement of sales and financial objectives by developing innovative menus, creating impactful promotional initiatives, and fostering a culture of exceptional customer service. The Food Service Director will inspire excellence, drive results, and create memorable experiences for both clients and guests every day.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver excellence in food service and customer serviceDevelop innovative menus and marketing strategically for the locationDeliver company driven initiatives in service, food and safety at a high levelDevelop and build catering businessCoordinate and supervise personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labour, scheduling, staffing and trainingTrain and develop team for out standing customer serviceIdentify and develop talent within the teamEnsure that standards for sanitation and food safety are metPrepare business plans,



budgets and forecastsMonitor financial operating results in order to achieve company and client objectivesEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting for all business sectorsMaintain records to comply with Aramark, and government standardsEnsure compliance with Marketing and Human Resources ProgramsEnsure adherence to Aramark's policies and proceduresEnsure adherence to Aramark's Health and Safety ProgramsQUALIFICATIONSUniversity Degree or College Diploma in Hospitality management or related field5 years progressive management experience in a similar sized operationStrong leadership and organizational skillsStrong analytical, project planning, and financial management skillsAbility to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staffPlease note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
