Position: Data Governance InternDepartment: Information SecurityLocation: 6300 Steeles Ave West, Woodbridge, ONHourly Rate: $19/hDuties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and maintenance of enterprise data catalogues (metadata capture, definitions, lineage and ownership)Work with data stewards and data owners to document data elements, business rules, and data quality considerationsPrepare presentations, status updates, and supporting materials for the Data Governance Council and related forumsSupport projects to ingest and onboard new data sources by coordinating metadata requirements and documenting source-to-target detailsUse SQL and/or Python to assist with metadata profiling, basic analysis, and validation to support cataloging and data quality effortsHaving fun while learning a ton and contributing to 407 ETR's data maturity transformation!QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a university/college program (e.G., Information Systems, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Business, or related)Working knowledge of SQL; Python is an asset (foranalysis, automation,
