Role Summary: PTW is looking for

3rd & 4th Year Electrical Apprentices and Journeyperson Electricians

to join an

9-day Shutdown near High Prairie, AB .

Duration: SEPT 27 - OCT 5' 2026

This is a great opportunity to earn overtime in a fast-paced industrial environment while supporting critical shutdown work.

9 straight days of work

8 regular hours + 4 OT hours daily

Travel allowance provided - $250

LOA included- $220

Industrial construction and maintenance experience required

Mill shutdown experience considered a robust asset

Important:

Candidates

must be able to drive to site .

No flights provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.

Collaborate effectively with other trades and contractors on site.

Complete required documentation, work orders, and reports.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements:





Valid Apprenticeship or Journeyperson Electrician Certificate

Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical construction with

Mill experience

Valid Fall Protection, Standard First Aid , AWP/EMP, CSO, ESTS

Solid knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S; requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment

Valid driver's license

Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions

RATES:

Journeyperson Electrician:

$45.00 - $55.00/hr

4th Year Electrical Apprentice:

$36.00 - $46.75/hr

3rd Year Electrical Apprentice:

$31.50 - $38.50/hr

Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
