Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is looking to hire a Electronics Procurement Specialist/ Buyer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

- Procure and place orders for goods, materials and services.
- Use ERP systems to review material requirements.
- Research and survey buying markets in order to source optimal suppliers.
- Keep material related information up to date and accurate in the ERP system.
- Handle shipping arrangements, and arrange for customer processing when required.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Negotiate return of items to vendors.

Qualifications

- Education: University or college degree in material managing,



purchasing or business administration.
- 8 years of purchasing experience.
- Experience with purchasing electronics an asset.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
