The Power Management Test Team at QNX is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Software Developer in Test to help ensure the quality and reliability of QNX Power Management technologies. In this role, you will do far more than execute tests. You'll develop and enhance automated test frameworks, investigate complex system issues, perform root-cause analysis,



and work closely with developers to support high-quality software releases.Working in a hands-on lab environment, you will validate software on embedded hardware platforms and contribute to all verification activities related to QNX Power Management features. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys software development, automation, debugging, and continuous quality improvement.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize automated test cases to continuously improve test coverage, and efficiencyDebug, analyze test results, generate and document defects, and verify fixesProduce detailed test reports based on the results with high accuracyExecute comprehensive test suites on new software builds using reference and customer hardware, and analyze resultsMaintain test lab environmentsCreate, update, and maintain test plans and test cases based on product requirements and feature specificationsConfigure, integrate, and validate software deliverables on embedded hardware platformsCollaborate closely with software developers, and fellow test engineersReproduce and investigate reported issues using systematic debugging and root-cause analysis techniquesEssential Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalentStrong programming background with 5+ years of experience in Python, C,
