Based in Ottawa or Vancouver, this role involves designing FEC algorithms that enhance optical transceivers for next-generation systems. The successful candidate will research FEC methodologies while collaborating with teams across DSP, ASIC, and firmware development. You will focus on trade-off analyses and ensure hardware implementations are effective. Key Responsibilities: - Research and optimize forward error correction methodologies - Develop coding architectures,
