Information Technology Systems Technician

The Position: A challenging opportunity exists with SD 67 (Okanagan Skaha) in a position of IT Systems Technician. The pay rate is $37.73 /hr plus a full benefit package (as per the CUPE Collective Agreement, after a 65 day probationary period). The successful candidate is also subject to a criminal record review.

The successful candidate should possess:

- Completion of Grade 12 and 4 year degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- 5 years related experience in Information Technology systems
- A thorough working knowledge and experience with information technology systems including
- hardware, software and networking applications and systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with possible conflicting priorities in a qualified manner.
- Ability to manage time, stress and interruptions while managing several projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and communications skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to lift 40 kgs
