RQ08859 - Project Manager/Leader - SeniorAbout the job RQ08859 - Project Manager/Leader - SeniorResponsibilities:Provide project management for the Immunization Repository Consolidation a large scale, complex, high profile and high-risk OPS I&IT initiativeEnsure project deliverables meet clients business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworksInteract with senior staff within the ministry and with external partners and manage relationshipsLead organizational development, strategy development, business planning, and ministry funding requests.Gather and develop requirements to create and maintain a detailed project schedule and/or integrated planIdentify team members in various disciplines, clarify roles and responsibilities, and set task/ deliverable/performance expectations for resources that are both OPS unionized employees, as well as Fee for Service (FFS) consultantsResolve resourcing and inter-personal conflicts, negotiate changes to resourcing,



ensure knowledge is shared among team members so that project objectives and deliverables are metDevelop complex project budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross-ministry dependenciesEffectively manage large project budgets and ensure a high level of fiscal control and accountability including estimates, forecasts and reconciliation/confirmation of actualsUse ministry project management tools for recording and reporting project/program dataParticipate in team meetingsCreate/update Integrated Project Management Plan (IPP), adjust and update IPP as per change requestsPerform reviews of schedule, variance analysis, adjust leads and lags, and revise scheduleManage and monitor project progress, critical path activities, and report on slippageCreate overall project status and project progress reports for project executives and stakeholdersIdentify and manage issues, review issue status, and produce issue logsProactively identify potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developedArticulate and prioritize issues and risks at senior executive levels, and recommends mitigation strategies for decision makersReview change requests, and prepare change requests report to be reviewed by Change Control Board, and adjust integrated project plan accordinglyPrepare business transformation and adoption plansCreate and provide knowledge
