- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $25.00-$28.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Job Duties

- Prepare and cook meals routinely and for special events or guest requests
- Keep records of food expenses, usage, sales, and inventory
- Coordinate the purchase and repair of equipment
- Hire and train junior staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Demonstrate recent cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
- Supervise cooks and kitchen staff, assigning duties and ensuring food quality and safety standards
- Plan menus and ensure all food prepared meets established quality and presentation standards

Job requirements

- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
