Step into a part-time role as a Communications & Administration Specialist with Music BC in Vancouver, BC. This hybrid chance combines administrative support with essential communication tasks for a vibrant music community.
This fixed-term position offers 25 hours weekly, focusing on coordinating communications and assisting in financial operations. You will ensure that organizational communications are timely and impactful. Ideal candidates will possess excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage communications calendar and oversee newsletter distribution
• Review social media content and coordinate with marketing team
• Provide financial record-keeping and invoice processing support
• Help organize and promote Music BC programs and initiatives
• Attend Music BC and industry events, supporting logistics
Requirements:
• Previous experience in communications or project coordination
• Excellent attention to detail in written communications
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Experience with accounting software is a plus
• Familiarity with the music industry in BC preferred
