Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across the Ottawa region.At Securiguard, our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.Requirements:Valid Ontario Security LicenseStandard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED1 year of security experience, preferredDiploma/Degree in the field of security or law enforcement preferred i.E Justice Studies, Police Foundations, etcExcellent communication & report writing skillsCustomer service experience is an assetApproaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathyCapable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hoursAbility to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgmentA valid drivers license & having a personal vehicle is an assetShares and adheres to our values - REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy and Honesty)Pay rate:
