Workplace Type: Onsite About Brucejack Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community. You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community. As Part of the Team Perform carpentry work including repairs, renovations, installations, and general maintenance. Complete basic plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, clearing clogs, replacing fixtures, and supporting plumbing installations. Assist with material staging, inventory management, and maintenance planning. Maintain buildings, camp accommodations, and facility infrastructure in safe working condition. Follow all health, safety, environmental, and site procedures. Prerequisites Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role. Valid driver's license. Strong communication and teamwork skills. WHMIS certification and TDG certification are considered assets. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a physically demanding environment. Work Environment Remote camp-based mining operation. 13 days on / 13 days off rotation, plus travel days. 12-hour shifts in varying weather conditions. Collaborative team environment with shared camp accommodations and amenities. Pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing required.
