ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead Analyst to drive financial process optimization and system enhancement initiatives for our freshly upgraded S/4HANA on RISE setting. This role requires proven expertise in S/4HANA Finance modules, post-upgrade optimization experience, and the ability to coordinate complex projects with business stakeholders and outsourced vendor teams while maximizing the value of our newly upgraded system.This position is based out of our Downtown Calgary Head Office, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.A DAY IN THE LIFEStrategic Leadership:Lead post-upgrade optimization and continuous improvement for S/4HANA Finance modules (FI/CO, PS, TRM, Cash, OpenText VIM) in our freshly upgraded environmentCoordinate complex finance projects with outsourced development teams and internal stakeholders for customizations and integrationsDevelop comprehensive 3-year finance technology roadmap leveraging new S/4HANA upgrade capabilitiesOperational Excellence:Lead business process reengineering initiatives leveraging S/4HANA finance capabilitiesImplement month-end close optimization and automation opportunitiesDesign and deploy real-time financial reporting and analytics solutionsProvide Level 3 support and escalation resolution for complex finance issuesTechnical Leadership:Serve as subject matter expert for S/4HANA Finance module configurations and customizationsOversee integration between S/4HANA and external financial systems (planning, consolidation, etc.)Lead testing and validation for system updates and finance-related enhancementsDesign and implement automated controls and audit trails for financial processesABOUT YOUBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field8+ years total SAP Finance experience with minimum 3+ years hands-on S/4HANA FICOCRITICAL: Proven experience with S/4HANA post-upgrade optimization and finance transformation in newly upgraded environmentsPreferred Qualifications:SAP S/4HANA Finance certificationCPA, or equivalent finance certificationExperience with SAP BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud for planning and consolidationKnowledge of RPA tools for finance process automation
