Provide essential support in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy as a Pharmacy Assistant. Deliver quality customer service, manage prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations in a weekend-only schedule.

This role is integral to assisting with prescription dispensing and ensuring efficient pharmacy services. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will greet customers, gather information, and maintain a welcoming environment. You will also manage prescription workflows and perform administrative duties while adhering to Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Key Responsibilities:



• Greet customers and assist with prescription information • Manage prescription orders and filing documentation • Cash out and locate prescriptions for customers • Prepare medications and manage refill requests • Answer phone and refer inquiries to pharmacists

Requirements: • High School Diploma required • Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred • Previous pharmacy experience preferred • Solid attention to detail and organizational skills • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities
