Acting as an in-house agency partner, this role translates business objectives into data-driven media plans, manages campaign execution across paid channels, and delivers performance insights that drive measurable business outcomes.Reporting to the Shared Media Leader, the Paid Media Manager will own paid media strategy, audience targeting, campaign setup, optimization, tracking and reporting while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on platform expertise, analytical rigor and strong communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Media PlanningDevelop integrated paid media strategies aligned with business objectives, audience needs and available budgetsBuild media plans that include channel recommendations, budget allocation, audience strategy, campaign structure and performance forecastsRecommend appropriate campaign objectives, including awareness, consideration, lead generation and conversion-focused initiativesIdentify testing opportunities and develop structured testing roadmaps to improve campaign performance over timeProvide strategic recommendations backed by data, platform best practices and business contextCampaign Execution & OptimizationPlan, launch, manage and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms including:Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube and Performance Max)Meta (Facebook and Instagram)LinkedInPinterestOther paid platforms as requiredManage campaign budgets, pacing and performance against established KPIsContinuously optimize targeting, bidding strategies, creative approaches,



messaging and budget allocationWork closely with internal design and content resources to develop and refine campaign assetsMonitor platform changes, emerging trends and industry best practices to identify new opportunitiesMeasurement, Tracking & AnalyticsOwn campaign measurement frameworks and ensure accurate performance tracking across all paid media initiativesImplement and manage tracking through:Google Analytics 4 (GA4)Google Tag Manager (GTM)Platform pixels and conversion trackingUTM governance and campaign taggingPartner with internal and external teams to ensure proper attribution and data integrityAnalyze campaign performance and identify actionable insights, trends and opportunities for improvementSupport dashboard development and reporting automation initiatives where appropriateReporting & Stakeholder CommunicationDeliver clear, concise and actionable reporting tailored to audiences with varying levels of marketing knowledgeTranslate campaign performance into business-focused insights and recommendationsPresent findings, recommendations and strategic updates to internal stakeholders and brand teamsCommunicate performance trends, risks, opportunities and optimization plans in a way that is easily understood by non-technical audiencesAgency & Vendor ManagementCollaborate with external media, programmatic, digital out-of-home and other specialized partners as requiredEvaluate vendor recommendations and ensure alignment with overall campaign strategy and business objectivesCoordinate campaign execution across multiple internal and external stakeholdersCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with organic social media, community management, public relations, SEO and broader sales marketing teams to ensure integrated campaign executionContribute paid media expertise during campaign planning and annual marketing planning discussionsSupport the development of cohesive audience, content and channel strategies across brandsNo direct reportsRequired Skills & Experience5–7+ years of hands-on paid media experience across multiple digital advertising platformsDemonstrated experience developing media strategies, media plans and budget recommendations tied to business objectivesStrong experience managing campaigns across Google Ads,



Meta and LinkedIn platformsHands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), conversion tracking and attribution methodologiesExperience implementing and maintaining campaign tracking, tagging and measurement frameworksStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into strategic recommendationsExperience presenting campaign performance and recommendations to stakeholders, clients or senior leadershipAbility to manage multiple brands, projects and priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsExperience working in agency, consultancy or multi-brand environments preferredExperience working with programmatic, streaming video, digital out-of-home or other specialized media partners is considered an assetExperience with Looker Studio or similar reporting platforms is considered an assetBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
