Take on an impactful role as a full-time Administrative Assistant within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary. Your support will include budget oversight, senior administrative tasks, and coordination of events.

This position is vital for the CAN-AMR-Net team, providing administrative and operational support to the Director and Manager. You will manage budgets, facilitate communications, and coordinate a range of events throughout the year. Your contributions will ensure that all financial records comply with university policies while actively supporting an inclusive campus atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with budget management and reconciliation tasks
• Schedule and coordinate executive meetings and travel
• Support event planning and in office logistics for workshops




• Reply professionally to inquiries and maintain communication
• Help with HR tasks and office supply management

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience
• Familiarity with University of Calgary practices is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and financial software
