LifeLabs is seeking a passionate Lab Patient Technician to enhance patient experiences in a temporary part time role across multiple locations. Your role will play a vital part in diagnostic procedures that affect lives daily.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for greeting patients, performing necessary tests like phlebotomies, and preparing specimens for further analysis. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle requests will strengthen patient trust and satisfaction. Data entry is vital, ensuring swift processing of test results while upholding confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and collect information to support specimen collection
• Conduct phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors




• Manage special collections including medical/legal drug screens
• Maintain effective patient relationships and assist with inquiries
• Complete data entry with precision for sample processing

Requirements:
• Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
• Prior phlebotomy experience is an asset
• ECG training is beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong communication and computer skills required
• Ability to deliver excellent patient service under stress
