Join AgeCare as a Health Care Aide to provide essential resident support and care. This role focuses on delivering basic care in a supportive community workplace.

Working under the guidance of a Staff Nurse, you will assist residents with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include personal hygiene, meal assistance, and mobility support, all while upholding safety standards. Experience in a continuing care setting is preferred to ensure quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents with bathing and grooming
• Facilitate safe transfers to and from beds and wheelchairs
• Assist with feeding and dietary requirements
• Manage routine care treatments under nurse supervision
• Accompany residents to recreational and therapy activities

Requirements:
• One year of experience in continuing care preferred
• Completed PCA/HCA Certificate or equivalent
• Active registration with College of Practical Nurses
• Strong English communication skills
• Post-secondary education is a plus
