As a Research Assistant within the School of Health and Public Safety, you’ll assist in developing anatomical structures for medical imaging applications. Your role will involve hands-on activities in CAD modeling and the fabrication of high-fidelity prototypes. You will also engage with a diverse team of professionals to translate complex data into accurate designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Modify cardiovascular anatomies based on imaging data
• Develop CAD models and prepare files for production
• Oversee 3D printing processes and quality assurance
• Document fabrication methods and version control
• Collaborate for ultrasound research compatibility
Requirements:
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant CAD experience
• Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or similar field
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong skills in product development and prototyping
