Join George Gordon First Nation as a full-time Youth Outreach Worker to support youth wellness initiatives. Deliver energetic sport, culture, and recreation programs for children and their families.
This role is designed for an energetic and motivated individual, characterized by strong values and a community-focused mindset. Under the guidance of the Family Wellness Co-Ordinator, you will develop, coordinate, and implement various youth programming, including participation in prestigious events like the Saskatchewan Tony Cote First Nation Games and the North American Indigenous Games. Building partnerships with community resources and local schools is key to enhancing program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver youth wellness programs and activities
• Coordinate participation in major youth sporting events
• Establish community partnerships for enhanced program support
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate activity data
• Provide transportation and supervision for youth as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12
• 0-6 months of relevant experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to network with schools and community resources
• Valid driver's license for transportation tasks
