A physician leader responsible for population‑level health policy, communicable disease control, and health promotion. Medical Health Officers (MHOs) guide emergency response, monitor outbreaks, and work with governments and communities to improve overall well‑being. What You’ll Do
Lead public health oversight and provide medical guidance. Conduct outbreak investigation and risk communication. Develop health policies and advocate for community health. Partner with leadership, governments, and community organizations. Prerequisites
Grade 12 diploma (Regular, Adult 12, or GED). Must obtain a ** medical degree (MD)** before entering public health specialty training. Program Locations
