Lead the innovative design of an online Criminal Law course for the University of Alberta. This mostly remote role focuses on creating engaging content for undergraduate students.
In this 8-month part-time position, you will spearhead course development for the asynchronous online Criminal Law course. Your responsibilities will include compiling micro-lecture videos, readings, and quizzes, while also providing oversight to teaching assistants. Robust knowledge of criminal law and experience in educational content development is vital for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compile and create substantive online course content • Draft assignments and assessments for student evaluation • Guide teaching assistants in their content creation efforts • Work with design teams to finalize course presentation • Ensure course material remains current for years to come
Requirements: • Must possess a JD or LLB degree • Knowledge in criminal law required • Educational content development experience preferred • Familiar with asynchronous teaching methods • Highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude
