This role is critical for the design and management of underground ventilation systems at Hemlo Mine. You will work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure compliance and efficiency, playing a pivotal role in enhancing our mining environment. Utilize your underground experience to conduct ventilation analyses, design necessary infrastructure, and provide technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead optimization of the underground ventilation systems
• Develop ventilation plans for mining activities
• Conduct inspections and monitor environmental performance




• Create and implement improvement initiatives based on analysis
• Collaborate across teams for ventilation integration

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or similar
• At least 5 years of relevant underground mining experience
• Proficiency in ventilation modeling tools
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills
• Eligibility for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) preferred
