Join the Self-Government Team as an Administrative Assistant, providing critical organizational support in a full-time capacity. You will facilitate communication and ensure all clerical tasks are executed with precision and timeliness.
Reporting to the Director of Self-Government, this full time role involves managing daily administrative duties, communication, and file management. You will need excellent organizational abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the flexibility to adapt to various tasks and conversations. Your proactive approach will help create a positive atmosphere for team-based collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform administrative and clerical duties daily
• Maintain professional communication via all channels
• Generate reports and assist in transcribing minutes
• Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements
• Manage digital filing systems and office supplies
Requirements:
• Certificate in Business Administration required
• 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience
• Exceptional organizational abilities under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse groups
• Awareness and respect for Indigenous cultures
