Experienced Kitchen Staff (Back of House) – Columbus Café Erin Mills TC

Location: Erin Mills Town Centre

Columbus Café is looking for a mature, dependable Kitchen Staff member to join our back-of-house team. We value experience, but personality, reliability, and a solid work ethic matter just as much. Candidates with the right mindset and full availability will be considered for training, even without a formal food service background.

Availability Required: Must be available any day of the week, between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute daily food prep and assembly to brand standards
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Follow and uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols
- Manage prep tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Support overall kitchen operations including restocking and organization

What We're Looking For:

- A mature,



professional attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow recipes and prep systems with consistency
- Full commitment to the required availability (including weekends and evenings)
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or back-of-house role is a strong asset, but candidates without direct experience who demonstrate the right personality and commitment will be considered for training

Additional Notes:

- Experienced candidates can expect to step in with minimal ramp-up time
- Candidates without direct kitchen experience should bring a strong work ethic and genuine interest in the role, we're willing to invest in the right person
- Food Handler Certification is an asset (preferred but not required)
