You’ll work alongside collaborative and dedicated teammates on the exciting Go Expansion Project at Alstom Canada.You'll play a pivotal role in managing external contractors and ensuring the successful operation of our construction sites while upholding the highest safety standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project management, EHS, and contractors), oversee compliance with safety and quality policies, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.You’ll specifically take care of monitoring contractor performance and ensuring adherence to approved drawings, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure a safe and organized work environment.We’ll look to you for:Managing external contractors related to construction activities for the projectMonitoring contractor quality and performance in line with established objectives and goalsIdentifying and resolving site issues to ensure seamless project deliveryContributing technical knowledge and inputs to assist contractorsLeading work area handover/handback, documenting snags,
and tracking punch list itemsLeading and monitoring all contractors comply to only working on planned activities per the daily job briefingsEnsuring compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies and standardsOccasional weekend and after-hours support may be required at times.All About YouWe value passion and attitude over experience.
