Stayuntilthelastchildleaves,everythingisputawayand anyothertasks fortheteacherare finished (be prepared for this to take more than 15 minutes!)

Ifyouaregoingtobeabsent,findareplacementatleastaweekaheadoftime

Incasesofsuddenillness,trytofindareplacementandifnot,lettheofficeknow by 1:00pm

Assisting Students

Keepafullsetofclassnotesandensurethatstudentsgetanymissedwork

Completeallofthehomeworkyourselfatleastoneweekaheadoftheclass

Beforeclass,getstudentssettledandansweranyhomeworkquestions

Duringtheteachingperiod,walkaroundclassandhelpstudentsorganizeandwritegoodnotes and ensure that they are on task

Helpweakerstudentsduringclass-sitbesidethemifnecessary!

Letthemknowiftherehavebeenanymissedtestsorhandouts

Ensurethateverythingisfine(i.e..parentsknowthechildisnotatclass)

Some marking during the week. This includes True/False or multiple choice type questions, ensure that you have marked it by the next class and you are there to hand it to the teacher
