Support individuals in need as a Resident Support Worker with The Salvation Army in Calgary. This full-time position involves guiding residents towards healthier lifestyle choices in a supportive setting.

Your main responsibility will be to assist residents experiencing homelessness, managing admissions, and fostering a positive atmosphere. Collaboration with team members and external agencies will be critical as you facilitate the transition for residents back into the community. Ensure documentation is accurate for all resident interactions and handle on-site safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage admissions and orientation for new residents
• Provide guidance on policies and procedures




• Facilitate communication with support teams
• Conduct safety checks throughout the facility
• Maintain records and assist with administrative tasks

Requirements:
• High school diploma plus relevant courses
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
• First Aid certification, including CPR
• Previous related experience preferred
• Strong crisis intervention and communication skills
