Become an integral part of the YMCA team in Toronto as a Lifesaving Instructor Examiner. This part-time position focuses on teaching and evaluating lifesaving skills in a community-focused environment.

The Steve & Sally Stavro Family YMCA is looking for two certified Instructor Examiners for a six-month contract. Your role will involve crafting comprehensive lesson plans, coaching participants, and ensuring their safety during aquatic sessions. Bring your solid communication skills and commitment to inclusion as you enrich the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lifesaving course content effectively
• Conduct participant exams following Lifesaving Society guidelines
• Plan and implement course lesson plans




• Recognize and adapt to diverse learning needs
• Attend scheduled programs, meetings, and events

Requirements:
• Require National Lifeguard and First Aid certifications
• Proven experience instructor or examiner preferred
• Outstanding organizational skills required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
• Dedication to child safety and well-being
