About the Role

Maintain and manage accurate and organized debt collection files from initial demand through to resolution

Prepare and file Small Claims Court documents (claims, defences, motions, etc.)

Communicate with clients, debtors, and third parties in a professional manner

Draft correspondence and legal documents with attention to detail and accuracyAttend court or tribunals as required

Track deadlines and ensure timely progression of files

Extremely efficient and adept organizational skills to manage simultaneous tasks effectively





Negotiate settlements where appropriate

What You Bring

Licensed Paralegal

Experience with debt collection and Small Claims Court is preferred

Robust organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office
